How much spending money do I need?
This is totally up to you! Remember you won't need money to
paid for food, drinks or anything at the Venture site (apart
from the normal "junk food" and souvenir type places.
You will need money to pay for your off-site activity if you have chosen an extra cost one.
So really the money you will need is your spending money - as you are off doing expeditions for 5 days also there won't be much opportunity for you to spend money here. Use $100 as a basis, and adapt it to suit what you think you may buy when in Tasmania.
But remember, be safe with the money you bring - don't bring it all in cash! Cash is hard to manage - ATMs can be accessed in Launceston and there may be limited EFTPOS facilities onsite.

Where and how do I book into Offsite activities?
You need to login to the Registration system and navigate to the
"Offsite" tab to book into offsite activities.
Please note some off-site activities require additional forms which can be downloaded from within the system or by clicking here
Will I need to take hammers/mallets
for my tent?
You will need the ability to pitch your tent including
the guy ropes and ensure it is pegged down correctly. So it
would be ideal for you to have a hammer/mallet!
Can I take separate bags for the
plane or does it all need to be packed into one?
QANTAS baggage allowances are for one bag per person.
